I hit the trail to find some freedom within the stresses of everyday life. I’m a writer, so as those everyday struggles begin to shake out of me, they come out as words. As a teacher of yoga, my own words mix with the words of ancient yoga philosophy. And a Trail Talk is born!

Each week, I weave a Trail Talk into the yoga classes that I teach. I know there are yogis on their mats who, like me, are there to loosen up some space for body AND mind. Read a Trail Talk, and join us in finding a little bit of freedom!

Collection of outdoor activities including a woman on a kayak, a woman practicing yoga, a person sailing, a girl by a waterfall, a woman with a hillbilly doll sculpture, and a woman doing a handstand by a lake, with a green background and the name "Laura" written next to a leaf and branch graphic.

Laura is a RYT 500 yoga teacher and an avid reader of yoga philosophy. She has been a yoga student for 21 years, and a hiker since her jr. high walk-and-talks while camping with her family.
